Comedy Open Mics are a great way to try stand up comedy for the first time! Anyone is welcome at an open mic to experience performing stand up comedy!
The rules of our open mics are very simple.
- Everyone gets 5 minutes on stage. The host of the mic will show you a light at 4 minutes. You should wrap up whatever joke you are telling. When you hit 5 minutes the host will show you another light. If you don’t stop talking by the time the host gets to you, they will take the mic from you.
- Our sign up lists fill up! Get to the open mics right around 7:30 if you want to be early in the night.
- We have no content restrictions on our open mics. That being said, please don’t be intentionally be offensive. There should be punchlines. You should be attempting to make people laugh, not angry.
